The latest exhibit at the Lyon County Museum features items from the museum’s collection related to ballrooms and bands in Lyon County along with items on loan from individuals and other museums in Lyon County. The exhibit is located in the conference room on the 2nd floor of the museum and will be open through next summer. WRAP has our gift program set up in this manner to help empower those we serve in being able to provide holiday gifts for their children without the restriction of funds or dependance on an abusive partner.

Learn how to use the Library’s Mark S. Goodenow Preservation Lab to digitize old photos, slides, cassette recordings, home movies, and more. We’ll walk you through the process for each type of media available. Feel free to bring your own photos, slides, cassette tapes, VHS tapes, or 8mm film.

On Thursday, November 14th, Suzanne Schmiesing will be teaching her annual Winter Planter Class here at Living Word! A light meal will be served at 5:30 PM, with the class starting at 6:00 PM in the Lower-Level Dining Area.
The base cost for the class this year will be $50.00. This includes soil, pot, spruce tops, evergreens, pinecones, and ribbon. There will be other add-ons to purchase such as berries, red twigged dogwood, birch pole, and more! You can also bring your own pots and/or decorations. Your total can be paid for with cash or check at the end of the class.
Class size is limited to 42 people - reserve your spot on Church Center today! You can also sign up by contacting the church office.

Newsletter Goals & Audience
The purpose of the Chamber E-Connection newsletter is to share our member's events with other business and community members. It's an informational newsletter and helps to promote our member businesses and their events. Each Friday, our newsletter is sent to over 1,500 individuals. Our separate emails are sent to the same list, but are held especially for our Chamber events and Business After Hours.

E-Connection events are included based on the requests from the member business. The following criteria are requested by the Marshall Area Chamber for event submissions:
*Event flyers or submissions must be an actual event. We don't include sales or promotions.
*Events can be included in the E-Connection for one week free of charge. You have the option of adding one additional week for $20.
*Submissions to be included must be sent the Wednesday prior to that Friday's E-Connection - they can be emailed to chamber@marshallmn.org.
*All event flyers are for Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce members only.
Did you find any errors? It happens! Although we appreciate notice of a small error in the newsletter, we only send out a corrected e-mail if absolutely necessary.
