Each year, Wreaths Across America brings together communities across the nation to lay remembrance wreaths on the graves of fallen heroes. Oakwood Cemetery, home to over 1,600 veterans’ graves, is no exception.

How can you get involved?

Sponsor a Wreath – For $17, sponsor a wreath in honor of our veterans. Contributions help ensure each hero is remembered this holiday season.

Volunteer – Gather family and friends to help lay wreaths, say veterans’ names aloud, and reflect on their service and sacrifice.

This event is coordinated by the Cabarrus Black Boys Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Curious about their name? Visit our website to learn the story behind it.
