Dear UFCW Local 1776KS Members,
Just over a week ago on Wednesday, July 1

, in accordance with our constitution and as properly notified by mail to all members last month, UFCW Local 1776KS members gathered across our jurisdiction to nominate local union officers and an Executive Board to govern our union for the next three years. This was the first such meeting since the merger of Locals 23 and 1776. We would like to thank those members who turned out to participate in the democratic process of your union.
We are pleased to report that a complete slate of officers and 38 Vice Presidents (including 8 new, first time elected officers) were nominated without opposition. As a result, the officers and executive board have been elected by acclamation, which means we will not conduct an election on July 17
th

Estimados miembros del UFCW Local 1776KS:
