From the Mayor's Desk

Dear Lancaster Community,

It is with a heavy heart that I share with you the passing of Bridgette Dorris, a cherished member of our community and the sister of former Councilmember and Bishop Darrell Dorris. Bridgette was a Teacher's Aide at Joshua Elementary and a faithful member of Living Faith Cathedral, whose bubbly and joyful spirit made her a beloved friend to many in our community.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Dorris family during this profoundly difficult time, and we stand ready to support them in any way needed during this period of mourning.

The City of Lancaster mourns with the Dorris family, and we offer our deepest sympathies.

Sincerely,
