REMINDER - BLACKBAUD MATCH CAMPAIGN IS THIS MONTH!

Every year at AFP ICON, Blackbaud matches donations to BE the CAUSE.
Please put June 28-30 on your calendar. We will remind you as the dates get closer so you can donate during the conference to receive the match. Our chapter goal for 2021 is just under $5,000. With these gifts we will be able to offer scholarships and programs to the chapter.

SENIOR GIFT PLANNER

The Senior Gift Planner is responsible for the successful design, implementation, and assessment of a comprehensive planned giving program in support of the College’s mission. This position serves both as a mentor, as well as a service provider, to the major gift and annual giving staff in order to develop a greater understanding of planned-giving opportunities and success in securing such gift commitments. A broad working knowledge of development is important, and expertise in planned giving is essential. This position will devote roughly one-third of their time to managing a robust planned giving program, and two-thirds of their time to developing relationships with donors to realize outright- and deferred-gift commitments. This position reports to the Vice President for Institutional Advancement.

CHIEF DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING OFFICER

Under the direction of the President & CEO and serving as a member of the Eastern Iowa Health Center (EIHC) Executive Team, the Chief Development & Marketing Officer (CDMO) works to advance the mission and work of the organization by implementing and managing a multifaceted fundraising, marketing and outreach programs. Works collaboratively with the President & CEO, the Board of Directors, the Executive Team and EIHC staff and volunteers to initiate and accomplish a successful, comprehensive annual fundraising campaign. In addition, the CDMO oversees internal and external communications, marketing, public relations and organizational outreach as they relate to the promotion of the organization, its activities and fundraising objectives.

DEVELOPMENT/
MARKETING MANAGER

The Cedar Valley Humane Society is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Development Manager. The individual will be responsible for creating and executing a strategic development plan to encompass all aspects of fundraising including major gifts, direct mail solicitation, planned giving, special events, and corporate and foundation giving. Awareness building, relationship development, and marketing and communications are key components of this position. The candidate will work closely with staff and volunteers, Board Members, Executive Director and the local community.

DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

The development officer serves as an ambassador of the College with responsibility to build and develop long-term, donor-centric relationships built on a firm understanding of the donor’s interest, passions, and values. The primary objective of the officer is to advance the mission of the College by planning and implementing a program to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospective donors with major and planned gift potential in support of Luther’s fundraising initiatives and institutional priorities.
