DISTRICT 6 REPORT
Logan Wells Memorial Skate Park dedicated in District 6 on Saturday
Last Saturday, I joined 300 friends, family and supporters of the Logan Wells Memorial Skate Park to dedicate this incredible new facility in District 6.

Thank you to Logan's family, city staff and everyone in our community who came together to make this happen. Some of these kids really shred too!

We also made history, as this is the first skate park in District 6. Families can find it next to the East Anaheim Gymnasium off Santa Ana Canyon Road.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this skate park possible and for bringing it to Anaheim!
NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICES' DISTRICT 6 COMMUNITY MEETING
City staff and around 50 residents of District 6 came together last week at the East Anaheim Community Center to discuss issues facing the city and our neighborhoods in District 6.

Thanks to our staff in Code Enforcement and our Parks Department for sharing an update on the city's efforts to address homelessness and eliminate impacts on our parks and public spaces. Thanks also to the Community Policing Team from Anaheim PD for leading a discussion on how to prevent crime and how to report issues to our Police Department.

It was an honor to attend the meeting for the first time as a member of the Anaheim City Council, and I enjoyed answering questions and getting to know the residents who attended.

Thanks to everyone for being there, and I look forward to the next D6 Community Meeting.
POST YOUR POTHOLE
As I shared in my swearing-in address, one of my top priorities as your District 6 Council Member is to improve and maintain our public streets in Anaheim Hills. We have miles of beautiful, scenic roads to enjoy, but sometimes our streets need repairs, especially after the recent heavy rains we've experienced.

That's why I'm introducing a new program on social media so you can share your photos of our streets needing attention. The program is called "Post Your Pothole." I'd like District 6 residents who encounter a bump in the road on your morning commute or while taking the kids to and from school to take a photo and share it on your social media channels.

Please share your pothole photos on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #postyourpothole. Tell us your location or your cross streets, and make sure the post is set to "Public."

My team will monitor #postyourpothole , and we'll be alerting our Public Works Department so crews can be dispatched quickly to make repairs.

We also encourage residents to use Anaheim Anytime to report maintenance issues, street light outages, power outages and more.
Sincerely,
Trevor O'Neil
