Greetings! Hardy garden plants thrive in northern gardens and provide beautiful flowers and fruit for many years. Customers can shop in our greenhouses from Wednesday through Sunday from 10am to 5:00pm. We are closed on Monday and Tuesday for deep cleaning and restocking.

Hardy Garden Plants

Clematis 'Taiga' PP Stunning, double purple, 3-6" flowers have light green petal tips and centers. It's blooming now and will continue through fall. Grow on a trellis or arbor to showcase the beautiful flowers. 4" pot. $24.95

Salvia 'Rose Marvel' PP 'Rose Marvel' creates a sensational display of rose-colored flowers in a perennial landscape. This dwarf salvia has the largest flowers of any pink variety. It's blooming now and it will rebloom steadily until fall. 4" pot. $14.95

Rose Candy Cane Cocktail PP Bi-colored roses are white with deep pink to red petal edges, and the large flowers are cup-like with 25 petals or more. It has excellent disease resistance and performs well in a no-spray environment. 4" pot. $29.95

Hardy Banana Hardy Banana gives your northern garden a tropical look. Known as the Japanese Fiber Banana, it grows many feet in a single season and forms large clumps that can reach up to 13' tall. 4" pot. $24.95

Persimmon 'Meader' This self-fertile American persimmon is one of the hardiest varieties. The tasty fruit ripens a deep orange and is best eaten when the fruit is soft. It ripens in early fall, usually mid-October in Connecticut. Sold in a tree pot. $39.95

Echinacea Butterfly 'Rainbow Marcella' PP 'Rainbow Marcella' has brightly colored, daisy-like flowers that open a beautiful clementine orange and age to a soft lavender pink. Darker raspberry pink surrounds the brown central cone. It's blooming now and will continue flowering until fall. 4" pot. $16.95
