Logistics Plus Sets Up Fund To Help Ukraine Employees
Like most of the world, Logistics Plus is incredibly concerned and heartbroken with what is going on in Ukraine right now. This hits close to home for us since we have nearly 50 employees in Ukraine. As a show of our support, Logistics Plus has set up a fundraising website to raise money for food, lodging, and whatever is needed to help our employees and their families.

For customs broker Gretchen Blough, business has been a “little crazy.” And Russia’s invasion of Ukraine — and the disruptions it’s caused to the global supply chain — are only part of the problem.

Scott Frederick and Ryan Markiewicz from the Logistics Plus Marketing team were featured on the weekly Business Spotlight program from WPSE AM 1450/FM 107.1 Radio. Business Spotlight is a 30-minute program airing Fridays at noon. Each segment focuses on a business or organization that is making an impact across the region.
Naval Warship Engines On The Move with help from LP
The Logistics Plus Project Cargo team successfully transported several Naval warship engines for the ESB and T-AO programs. The two programs vary based on the type of warship and their purpose. The T-AO fleet involves large oilers, while the ESB program involves landing platform vessels.
How Logistics Plus Resolves Inventory Dilemmas
A recent article published by CSCMP’s Supply Chain Quarterly, written by Jonathon Byrnes and John Wass, suggests that implementing a balanced inventory management strategy is essential. The biggest question facing managers today is whether their supply chains should be just-in-time (low inventories) or just-in-case (high inventories).
'Erie United For Ukraine' Campaign Launched
The Erie Community Foundation and United Way of Erie County recently announced the #ErieUnitedForUkraine campaign. This campaign supports the international effort by United Way Worldwide, a multinational effort to direct much-needed donations to United Way organizations in the countries welcoming Ukrainians fleeing the horrors of war.
Logistics Plus Employees Offer 'Erie for Ukraine' Help
Gretchen Seth and Julie Slomski (along with Laura Schaaf of the Barber Center) volunteered to sort and pack donations for Erie for Ukraine. Gretchen provided a first-hand account of the experience, along with photos from the day.
Logistics Plus Hosts Ukraine Fundraiser at The BrewErie
Logistics Plus hosted a fundraiser at The BrewErie at Union Station. It was a fun night filled with appetizers, brews, games, and giveaways. By the end, we helped raise another $2,159 for Ukraine relief efforts. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed!
