Water Well Screening

Did you know: Private water wells should be tested annually.

Lone Star GCD is offering complimentary screenings for registered private exempt water wells located in Montgomery County, Texas, through a partnership with Texas Well Owner Network (TWON).

Water samples will be screened for contaminants, including total coliform bacteria, E. coli, nitrate-nitrogen, and salinity.

Space and funding for this screening opportunity are limited, and once capacity is met, registration will close.

Lone Star GCD at the 2026 TAGD Summit

Our team recently attended the Texas Groundwater Summit, the largest groundwater conference in Texas, where water professionals, district leaders, policymakers, and researchers from across the state gathered to discuss groundwater science, management, and the future of Texas water resources. It was a great opportunity to connect with colleagues and stay informed on the latest groundwater topics impacting Texas.

Science Night at Crippen Elementary School

This month, our team had the pleasure of attending Crippen Elementary's Science Discovery Night: Waves & Water in Porter, where students explored the science of water and learned about the importance of water conservation. We are grateful for the opportunity to engage with such curious young minds and appreciate the invitation to be part of this exciting event!
