Let’s sort this out! Keep batteries and electronics out of the recycling cart. These items pose a fire and safety hazard to workers.
In addition to causing problems at the recycling center, small items like batteries can fall out of the cart when emptied into the recycling truck.
Prevent litter and reduce risks to workers by recycling right.
Batteries can be recycled at the Seminole Road Landfill, Batteries Plus Bulbs, Home Depot, and many other retailers. Batteries are also accepted at the Spring Household Hazardous Waste event!
