Montessori Approach in Long Term Care: This session will address the principles of the Montessori approach, key aspects of this approach as well as how to implement within the activity program. These methods can also be applicable in the residents activities of daily living aspects of the residents in our care.
General Ethics in Long Term Care: This session will cover ethical considerations related to HIPAA, the utilization of psychotropic medications, the management of depression among residents, and strategies for addressing residents' language needs.
