Thanks for moving with us on Thanksgiving! We had a great turnout, both in person and online! Let's keep moving, not because we need to work off the pie, but because it feels so good!

Online Classes on Mindbody
All of our Online classes are on Mindbody. You can watch them at their scheduled time or you can find them in our Video Library. You only need to sign up if you want to watch a class live. The Video Library is available for anyone who wants to check out our recorded classes.
Please make sure you are signing up for the classes that you want!
Our Online classes have the word Virtual in the title. Some of our classes are hybrid, and if you sign up for the In Person class you will not receive the link that you need to attend the Online class. If you haven't received your link 30 minutes before class starts (and really it is 29 minutes), make sure that your reservation is for the correct class. Teachers (and Janine) cannot always troubleshoot last minute, due to travel and trying to set up their classes, so please double check the title of the reservation email that is sent when you sign up.
If you did sign up correctly and still didn't receive the email containing the link to the class, be sure to check your junk mail or promotions folder. If you still don't see an email, email Janine at luminamindbody@gmail.com and she will track down the problem.
Hopefully by now you have set up your Mindbody account and have all the kinks worked out. Remember, all of our in person and online classes are free to members. If you are being asked to pay, please contact Janine at luminamindbody@gmail.com and she can fix it for you.
You may pre-register for as many classes as you like. If you can't make it to a class that you registered for, please cancel your reservation or email Janine who can do it for you. See you in class soon!

Where to Find Your Classes on Mindbody
|
|
Please note the location of the class you wish to take. Many times Mindbody defaults to the Natick location and you may need to toggle "Wayland Campus" or "All Locations" to find the class you are looking for. In the Longfellow app, click on the location at the top and choose "change location" to get to the other location. In the Mindbody app you will need to choose the other Longfellow location when you search for Longfellow Health Clubs. On the Mindbody website, you can change locations once you click on a class tab. The locations tab is in the row beneath the classes tabs.
Whether you are looking to sign up for classes in person or online, you might be confused as to where to find them. If you go to "All Classes" you will find all of the classes that are offered at Longfellow Health Clubs. To narrow it down, you can choose the category you wish to see most.
Below is a breakdown of where you can find our classes (and links to Mindbody are in blue).
All Classes: Group Exercise, Yoga, Mat Pilates, Barre, Reformer, Water Exercise; classes In Person and Online (online classes say "virtual" in the title).
Online Classes: All of our online classes for Strength, Yoga, Mat Pilates, Barre, Mindful Dance/Nia, Zumba
Group Exercise: All of our In Person group exercise classes taught at Longfellow for Cycle, Quick Fix, Sculpting, Boot Camp, Stretch and Roll, Intervals, Mat Pilates, Zumba, Total Body Shred, Barre Sculpt
Lumina: All of our In Person classes taught at Lumina in Wayland and Natick in Yoga, Reformer and Caroline's Power Barre
Currently all of our In Person class schedules are available on Mindbody Online, the Mindbody app and the Longfellow app. You can view them by going to www.clients.mindbodyonline.com or by using the apps. If you need more details, please click the button below.
Please sign up ahead of time to reserve your spot for all of our In Person and Online classes. This is especially important for our Indoor classes as space is limited to ensure proper distancing. If you are unable to keep your reservation, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can offer your spot to another person.

Our Video Library is open for viewing. It can often take over an hour for new classes to upload so we appreciate your patience. If you are looking for a class that you don't see, you can scroll down and find the category (Yoga, Barre, Circuit Training, Dance, etc.). There is an arrow to the right that allows you to see older classes than what is visible on the screen.
You can access the Video Library directly by clicking the button below. These videos are included in your Longfellow and Online membership. If you are asked to pay for classes, please contact Janine.

What is Reformer Pilates?
This type of Pilates is done on a special piece of equipment called the Reformer. It uses your body weight plus spring resistance, creating work both concentrically and eccentrically. Reformer is excellent at helping you build core strength, while also creating joint stability, balance and length in the muscles. Reformer Pilates will enhance any sport as it is excellent for cross training. Reformer exercises leave you feeling stronger, taller and energized!

We have group classes 6 days a week for Beginners through Advanced students at Lumina in Wayland (across the parking lot from the Longfellow Health Club). We also have classes for anyone who is rehabbing an injury as well as Athletic Conditioning for Athletes or advanced students.
Basic/Rehab-- For beginning students new to the Reformer equipment or anyone who needs to modify the exercises due to injury.
Multi-Level Reformer-- For all levels. A balanced workout based on the Pilates Basic Principles for strengthening the core, shoulders, hips, back and legs. For students with at least 6 months of Reformer experience.
Intermediate Reformer--For advanced students with at least 2 years Reformer experience. More challenging exercises on the Reformer equipment.
Jumpboard--For all levels. A combination of cardio and Reformer strengthening. All the benefits of jumping rope without the impact. Jump using spring resistance instead of gravity for a fun and challenging workout!
Athletic Conditioning--For athletes or anyone looking to cross-train. A balanced workout specifically designed to meet the needs of athletes to enhance their performance in any sport. Tennis, running, biking, swimming, golf, hiking, all athletes will benefit from this class.

Are you interested in private sessions? We offer a free 30 minute private session to all new reformer students to try out the equipment. You can also sign up for "Duet" sessions and practice with a spouse, teen or BFF.

The Reformers are cleaned before and after each use and are spaced apart for safety. Please wear a mask and socks (preferably sticky socks) to class.
