Longing for Righteousness and Justice |
God will one day glorify Himself by establishing His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven through the Lord Jesus Christ. As the King of kings, He will rule and reign over the earth for a thousand years from a throne whose foundation is righteousness and justice (Ps. 89:14; Rev. 20). Do you long for that day when servants of the King will no longer be treated unjustly and controlled by arrogant and unreasonable people who mock God’s standard for righteousness?
A Christin's Response to a Hostile Culture
This longing for righteousness and justice is becoming more prevalent today among conservative Christians. Anyone who takes a stand for truth and morality has become a vulnerable target for the cancel-culture movement and a government that seeks to control its citizens by taking away their freedoms. Tragically, America no longer upholds its foundational pledge of liberty and justice for all. Yet, no matter how hostile the environment becomes, and how much persecution we face, Christians are still called to conduct ourselves in a manner worthy of the Gospel of Christ (Phil. 1:27).
The Injustice of American Airlines
Last month I was the victim of peculiar injustice when an American Airlines flight attendant filed a report that falsely accused me of refusing to wear a face mask. The accusation was fallacious since I wore my mask throughout the entire flight except when I drank a cup of water. Furthermore, none of the flight attendants spoke to me throughout the two hour flight. Two days later, after I delivered 4 messages at a conference in Green Bay, my wife and I were dropped off at the airport. When we checked in for our flight I was shocked to find out I was now banned from flying on AA until the mask mandate is lifted. This outrageous injustice by AA caused us to get a hotel room and fly home on another carrier at a cost of $600.
No Due Process and No Refund by AA
The day after we arrived home. I received an email from AA Corporate Security saying, "Due to a recent incident regarding our policy on face mask coverings on American Airlines flight 1408 on April 9, 2021 between DFW-ORD, future travel on all American Airlines flights will be denied." I immediately contacted Customer Relations and asserted there was absolutely no incident involving me or my wife and this is a false charge that needs to be dismissed. After a week of pleading my case and asking for due process, Corporate Security still refuses to return my calls or take me off their "no fly list." Adding to their injustice, they have refused to refund our fares for the return flight that I was banned from taking and refused to provide me with a report of the so called "incident." This is indeed a strange way to run an airline and an outrageous and disgraceful way to treat a once loyal, longtime customer with nearly 2 million miles flown.
Social Media as a Last Resort for Due Process
Since AA refused to give me the opportunity for due process to appeal their false claim, I resorted to making my case known on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and MeWe. I have been encouraged by all the uplifting messages and prayer support from people all over the world. It is also encouraging to know that 534 people have shared this outrageous injustice on their Facebook pages. Many have suggested that this has nothing to do with face masks but everything to do with my uncompromising stand for the truth of God's Word and the exclusivity of His Gospel. We have also been encouraged by several conservative news sources and radio programs that picked up the story.
All Things Work for Good to Those Who Love God
While being banned from future flights on AA will have an adverse effect on my future travel, I am comforted in knowing that God sovereignly controls all things. There is a peace that surpasses all understanding knowing that this injustice is for His glory and my good (Rom. 8:28). I have already experienced some good from this story going viral throughout the world. A missionary in Italy, who had never heard of our ministry, went to our website and asked if he could translate our Gospel tracts into Italian. A missionary in Croatia put me in touch with an attorney for legal advice. A missionary in Northern Ireland encouraged me to expose this miscarriage of justice through radio and TV programs. The director of a world-wide ministry in Australia asked for all of his subscribers to pray for us. Knowing that our Sovereign Lord hears our prayers, we ask you to join us in prayer as well. Be assured that we will rest in His perfect will!

Sowing the Imperishable Seed of God's Word |
The Bible tells us that people are "born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God" (1 Pet. 1:23). Knowing this, we published a Gospel tract that contains only the Words of God. Therefore, when you give it to someone, you are sowing the seed that may bring forth life. The Scriptures in The Greatest News tract are divided into six categories: God's Perfection, He Is Holy; Man's Problem, All Have Sinned; God's Provision, A Savior; Man's Part, Repent and Believe; God's Promise, Eternal Life; and Man's Privilege, Serve The King.

Pope's Globalist Agenda Continues |
Pope Francis, the first Jesuit pope, continues his globalist agenda with a conference on global health in May. Jesuit trained Dr. Anthony Fauci, along with Chelsea Clinton, and the CEOs of pharmaceutical manufacturers Moderna and Pfizer will be among the speakers. Both Pope Francis and Fauci are disciples of the Jesuits and collaborate with other major players such as Jesuit Dr. Robert Redfield, former head of the CDC, and ecumenist Dr. Francis Collins, head of the NIH.
The conference may need to address the Vatican's statement that it is “morally acceptable to receive COVID-19 vaccines that have used cell lines from aborted fetuses in their research and production process.” More than 100 speakers, some of whom hold views diametrically opposed to Church teachings, will speak. They include New Age guru Deepak Chopra, who the conference describes as a “world-renowned pioneer in integrative medicine and personal transformation.” Read more.

Mike, This is a good but infuriating newsletter. The Pope's history of wildly unbiblical statements is not only an affront to the blood of Christ and to logical reasoning and rational thought, It's "speaking without thinking" theology. That's what happens when there is no regard for the Scriptures. This is the church which put to death the martyrs because their beliefs fell outside the false Catholic gospel. Now the self-professed head of that same church says that the gospel is so broad that all are safe within its walls regardless of their faith. Keep pressing on with the truth! The Veneration of Relics in Catholicism |
On a misions trip several years ago, I had a chance to witness to Catholics at St. Anthony's Chapel in Pittsburg. The church has over 5,000 relics of saints, more than any church outside of the Vatican. A relic is a part of a holy person’s body or belongings kept as an object of reverence. There are three classifications of relics. First-class relics are a piece of the saint’s body, such as hair, bone, or teeth. Second-class relics are something the saint owned like a piece of clothing. Third-class relics are a piece of cloth or a medal touched by a saint.
Saint Anthony's has the body of St. Demetrius and a tooth from St. Anthony. There is supposedly a splinter from the cross Jesus was crucified on, a thorn from the crown of thorns and a piece of stone from the tomb. Also displayed as a relic is a blood-stained piece of a garment Pope John Paul was wearing when he was shot in Saint Peter's Square in 1981. Read more.

Catholic Teaching: The Veneration of Relics According to the Catholic Catechism, forms of piety and popular devotions among the faithful should include venerating relics, which is a form of worship (CCC 1674).
Biblical Response: Relics are not to be venerated, worshiped, or used as an object of prayer. Using relics in such a way is idolatry (Exodus 20:3; Isaiah 42:8). We are called to worship God in spirit and truth (John 4:24), not using relics, whether genuine or fake.
