Wellington, FL - February 15, 2016 - Purina Animal Nutrition, a supporter of Challenge of the Americas since 2006, has returned this year as a team sponsor to back a group of six top riders performing a Grand Prix dressage quadrille. Known for their research and commitment to equine nutrition, Purina Animal Nutrition is proud to sponsor the first-class event that raises funds for breast cancer research.
"We are honored to be a part of the Challenge again this year," said Shiela Conde, Purina Animal Nutrition's equine and sales specialist of South Florida. "It truly has significant value to the community, and year after year it is a quality event for an important cause which brings everyone together with entertainment."
The 2016 Challenge of the Americas will be held March 11 at 5:30 p.m at the International Polo Club Palm Beach in Wellington, Florida. Proceeds support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation through their partner Play for P.I.N.K.

"Many of us have experienced someone in our life that has struggled with cancer, so it does become personal for us," Conde explained. "Every person that is a part of Challenge is there because they truly admire, respect and believe in it."
Team Purina won last year's Challenge and the team this year is practicing hard to defend their title. The 2016 Team Purina consists of Shelly Francis, Kasey Perry-Glass, Kim Herslow, Betsy Steiner, Pamela Goodrich, and Jennifer Marchand. Terry Ciotti Gallo is the choreographer and coach with the help of Bill Warren.
With an exciting lineup of top dressage riders and horses preparing some of the most advanced quadrilles to date, as well as a talented group of show jumping athletes, the 2016 Challenge is not to be missed!
"It's always beautiful, fun and it brings the best energy from everyone," Conde said. "I think that the dedication and the true commitment from everyone involved is what makes this event so unique. It really does unite people. Every year they host a nicer event than the year before!"
