Everyone is looking forward to a spooky Halloween tomorrow and we want it to be filled with more treats than tricks. Slow down on your way home and be on the lookout for our younger residents who are eagerly making their way around town.

Due to the continuing government shutdown, SNAP benefits will not be replenished starting on Saturday, Nov. 1. Montgomery Food Pantry is preparing to support those who are affected in our community. A coordinated food distribution event will be offered at Otto Kaufman Community Center on Friday, Nov. 21. Prior to this event, our pantry will be open by appointment. To help support those in need, we are asking residents to step forward and make a difference, whether with their time, donation or both. There are collection bins at Montgomery Municipal Center and Otto Kaufman Community Center, as well as temporary ones at Princeton Fitness & Wellness and Kasia Market. (List of non-perishable items needed.) We also need additional volunteers to help collect and organize Monday through Friday.
