We Are Working to Keep Our Ancient Lake Healthy
We have moved forward with environmental approvals and plans to breach the levee along on old man-made channel to allow expansion of the wetlands at the Wright Preserve.
All Donations Matter whether it is as Big as an Island or as Small as $5 a Month
We now have ownership of Monitor Island off the shore of Clearlake Park. We plan to work with the local tribes to discover how to best interpret and preserve this unique land.
The Trust Grows With Your Help
A unique 40-acre parcel of California habitat on the flanks of Mount Konocti was donated to the Land Trust and will be preserved forever.
Your Dollars Keep our Trails Open
We work to keep our trails mowed and cleared to allow for easy access to the beautiful lands of the Lake County Land Trust.
Donations Helps us Educate Our Youth About the Natural World
In a collaborative effort with students from Middletown H.S., volunteers and LCLT new directional signs were installed pointing to numerous peaks at the top of Rabbit Hill Preserve.
We have more displays and hands-on activities for kids at the Rodman Nature Center.
All of these efforts would not be possible if it weren't for the support of all who give to the Lake County Land Trust.
