Our children benefit from the continuous love & support provided, daily, at Dunbar, Farrell & Gompers Schools; Educare; Head Start; PHL PreK & Kindergarten.

Recently celebrating Black History Month, Methodist Services’ OST Team at Gompers Elementary/Middle Schools engaged students in a special art exhibition plus performances of new choreography by Anaya Manley, former Methodist Services’ Camper, now OST Team Member. Students took home goodie bags which included a “bracelet of encouragement.”

Sending a warm welcome to new Heritage Farm - Farm Manager, Ryan Curran, a Philly local who began farming in 2013. Ryan was an Assistant at Heritage Farm from 2017-19 and “feels fortunate to return now as Manager.” Check out Heritage Farm’s collards, chard, fennel, cabbage, broccoli and red kale pictured in hand. Methodist Services is pleased to announce the Grand Re-opening of Monument Village, a 60-apartment affordable housing development in West Philadelphia. The 18-month preservation and renovation of this property was a priority for Methodist Services and Mission First to ensure its long-term affordability for the formerly unhoused individuals and families who live there. Monument Village is a thriving community, serving individuals and families with comprehensive social services which foster independence and self-sufficiency in a caring community setting. Thanks to all involved!
Recently, Inglis Methodist Gardens (IMG) opened its doors for the first time to welcome formerly unhoused individuals and families, as well as people with disabilities to a new, inclusive community of 47 affordable, integrated, and supportive apartments, 23 of which are now fully accessible and technologically enhanced for greater independence.
 
Today, all IMG apartments are fully occupied with residents forging an organic community, accessing new supports and building rich lives. Help us enhance IMG residents’ everyday needs.
