TOP 68 SCHOLARSHIPS FOR HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS IN MARCH 2021
High school seniors should not forget to apply for scholarships (especially after their college applications are submitted). Senior year is an extremely busy year for students. College applications, challenging classes, standardized tests, and extracurricular commitments take up a lot of time.

While need-based financial aid is very important, merit scholarships are also an important way to pay for college. After all, you want to minimize the amount of student loans you take out and you can do that through these top scholarships for seniors.

*MARCH IS WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH*
WHAT IT IS:
Since 1987, the United States has recognized March as National Women’s History Month, to give extra attention to the amazing accomplishments of strong, determined women. Every woman has a story to tell and gifts to share with the world.

WHY IS WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH IMPORTANT?
We haven't given women their due attention! For many years, women weren’t acknowledged in historical texts. This isn’t because women weren’t in the midst of important events. It’s mainly because men wrote most historical documents.
Women are inspirational! Learning about women who have stood up for their rights and fought for what they believe is fantastic motivation. We all have the power to influence the direction our world is headed in.
It recognizes the strength and power of women! This month is an opportunity to spotlight on major things women accomplish every day. From carrying babies to fighting wars and governing countries, women are pretty amazing.

WAYS TO CELEBRATE:
Attend an event like 3/8/21 from the National Museum for Women in the Arts
Gather or spend time with people of ANY gender who are important to you and make a difference in the world. Get them to tell you a story about their life. Or, write a letter to a woman, or ANYONE, who has made an impact on you.
