Happy 39th Birthday, OffiCenters!

rd with the timely topic of Planning and Executing Virtual Events and finally, on June 25, Zenith Koy will present PowerLunch. Please, check the events calendar on our website for more information and to register.
I have to say that this has been the most challenging year of my career. I am thankful to all of our members for the support and encouragement I’ve received. But mostly, I want to thank my team who has stood by me and our members through the last 12 weeks. I am pleased to say that we never closed a workspace location and have been fully staffed and ready to help everyone do their best work. We’ve answered phones, sorted mail, took in packages and kept the lights on and the doors open on your behalf. Many of our competitors SAY they are open but, in fact, have abandoned the workspaces and left their clients to fend for themselves. I am proud of our team and their commitment to our members.
With COVID-19 guidelines in mind, we have prepared our workspaces for your return. Together we are reinventing the workspace and the way we can Work Awesome. Just last week, we have seen more members come back to work and we are smiling behind our masks as we welcome you back. Our workspaces are open daily between 9AM and 4PM. I still feel it is important to let our team take some extra time for self-care in these difficult times.
I cannot be silent about the injustice and chaos that took place in our cities over this past week. My friends from around the globe have reached out to see if we are fine. I don’t think any of us are fine right now. My heart goes out to the family of George Floyd. I pray for a resolution where we can all be at peace and learn a better way to live together in this chaotic world. Let’s be a part of the change.

We're CoWorking Strong
A recent survey conducted by Coworking Insights, a leading source for data and trends in the flexible office industry, compiled the opinions of worldwide workers that have been forced to work remotely since the outbreak of COVID-19. Those surveyed were split almost evenly between those that worked from home, an office, or in a coworking space. Of those not already coworking, more than 55% claim they will, or have already, considered joining a coworking space for their future work solution. When asked why, 87% said to help solve isolation, 56% to get away from distractions at home, 39% for access to professional services they need and almost 40% to maintain motivation. Current coworking members shared 89% plan on returning to their coworking space and cited their current coworking environment provided a positive effect on their mental health, career success, finances and family/social life. Thank you to the members of our Work Awesome Community, who continue to support us, as we will continue to support you.

IMPORTANT UPDATE from Randy Shaver Cancer Research & Community Fund:
All of us at the
Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund
take pride in supporting Minnesota’s Cancer community. As we monitor COVID-19 we recognize that changes must be made to ensure that the community we know and love is safe. Our community is each of you: sponsors, donors, researchers, community friends, volunteers and patients.
Therefore, to protect those we care most about, we have canceled the golf portion of this year’s Rush Creek Golf Club/Randy Shaver Celebrity Golf Classic and will Host a Virtual Rush to the Cure Gala on Sunday August 23rd, 2020. (Details regarding the Virtual Gala coming to you soon.)
