held its dedication of its new school cafetorium recently. Watch a video of the dedication above!
More than 800 people attended the event altogether. The attendees included three of Redeemer’s charter members from 64 years earlier: Marietta Kemnitz, Alberta Noack, and Eldore Urban. Barbecue was served.
Senior Pastor David Schroder and his wife, Sandy, were surprised with the unveiling of a plaque honoring his 47 years of ministry at Redeemer, naming the new cafetorium Schroder Commons.
The new building replaces the old cafetorium, which has been renovated with four new preschool and Kinderbridge classrooms. Schroder Commons is a three-level, multipurpose facility that also serves as a fine arts theater with a capacity for more than 600 people.
