Blessings from 2018
We witnessed so many wonderful church building projects getting started, continued, and completed this year—all thanks to your investments in the Church Extension Fund! Let's take a look back at all the good news from 2018 ...
Austin Redeemer dedicates its new school cafetorium
Austin Redeemer held its dedication of its new school cafetorium recently. Watch a video of the dedication above!

More than 800 people attended the event altogether. The attendees included three of Redeemer’s charter members from 64 years earlier: Marietta Kemnitz, Alberta Noack, and Eldore Urban. Barbecue was served.
Senior Pastor David Schroder and his wife, Sandy, were surprised with the unveiling of a plaque honoring his 47 years of ministry at Redeemer, naming the new cafetorium Schroder Commons.
The new building replaces the old cafetorium, which has been renovated with four new preschool and Kinderbridge classrooms. Schroder Commons is a three-level, multipurpose facility that also serves as a fine arts theater with a capacity for more than 600 people.
The Family of Faith welcomes little ones to its new preschool
The Family of Faith welcome families to their brand new  preschool in the Miramesa neighborho od in Houston  in October. And what a gorgeous day it was!
St. Mark opens doors on new education building
We were thrilled to attend the opening worship and ribbon cutting at the new education building at  St. Mark in Houston in August. Classes began just a few days later!
Abba's House welcomes refugee families
This summer, LifeBridge Cypress opened Abba’s House of Welcome, a new ministry that provides a temporary home for refugee women and children. It shares part of LifeBridge's Cypress' new property.
Trinity Klein completes 49,000 sq ft to serve children and seniors
In January, Trinity Klein opened a new nursery, children’s ministry space, and a wing to serve their growing middle school and senior populations. They also purchased 19.8 acres to expand their sports fields and parking.

Messiah Lutheran makes progress on education building
Messiah Lutheran in Boerne has achieved some great progress on their education building. The video at left shows the all-important AC unit being lowered by crane through the roof!
Peace Hewitt lays foundation for its main building expansion + renovation
Construction began in early October for  Peace Hewitt's main building expansion and renovation.
Texas District welcomes new president, Mike Newman
While Rev. Newman's presidency, which began in October, is not literally a building project, he will definitely be continuing the groundwork for great things to come!
