Early Start Survey Participants Sought
The Systems Committee of the California Interagency Coordinating Council on Early Intervention has been reviewing the use of private insurance by families within Early Start and would like to hear from families about their experiences.
The California Department of Developmental Services wants to hear about your or your family member's services provided by regional centers throughout California. This survey is part of a study about how California pays for services. This survey is available in multiple languages and is due by Oct. 28. Take Regional Center Survey
Have An Adventure with WarmLine
The Sacramento Adventure Playground is open to youth with disabilities on the first Saturday of the month -- rain or shine! This is a designated time the youth and their siblings to enjoy the facility exclusively. The playground is a place where youth can use raw materials to create projects and play spaces that reflect their own ideas and vision. A parent/guardian must be present.
Space is limited and registration is required for all events. For assistance registering, please call WarmLine at (916) 455-9500.
For Your Information
Does My Child Have Physical Developmental Delays?
Physical developmental delays are when children aren't doing activities (like rolling over, sitting without support, or walking) that other children their age are doing. Developmental delays can be a sign of a serious health condition, so it's important to talk with your child's pediatrician about them.
