This week we've prepared a curated collection of artwork that focus on the use of reflections and shadows within the piece.

Shadows and Reflections
  
When composing a painting, artists think beyond just the subject matter and colouring of the painting. They have to consider the negative space as well. They create repetitions and patterns in the works, which often show up in reflections and shadows.

Both shadows and reflections add spaces we don't always notice, creating its own space within the painting.

We've gone through our collection to provide works from many of our artists that utilize shadows and reflections in different ways to create various effects within their artworks.
