MISSION & PHILOSOPHY

District Mission:

The Rincon Valley Union School District is committed to creating a safe, equitable, and inclusive learning environment in which all students feel a sense of belonging, are respected and celebrated for their individual differences, and are empowered

to thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.

RVIPP Mission:

The mission of the Rincon Valley Inclusive Preschool Program (RVIPP) is to serve the children and families of the Rincon Valley Partnership Community.

Through collaboration and inclusion, we prepare preschool-age children for success in elementary school and beyond.

Philosophy:

At RVIPP, we believe every child is unique and valuable. Our preschool classrooms are inclusive of all children, celebrating individual differences and

promoting a nurturing environment where children can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.

Our inclusive model supports children receiving both General Education and Special Education services, learning and growing together in a collaborative

setting. This fosters empathy, cooperation, and mutual respect among all students.

GOALS

Social Skills

We help children build friendships, share, take turns, and work together—laying the foundation for positive social relationships.

Academic Readiness

Our activities spark curiosity and prepare children for kindergarten by exploring early literacy, math, and problem-solving in fun, hands-on ways.

Physical Development

From climbing and running to drawing and building, we support both gross and fine motor skills essential for healthy, active learning.

Communication

Through songs, stories, play, and conversation, children develop the language and communication skills they need to express themselves and connect with others.

Emotional Regulation

We guide children in recognizing their feelings, using calming strategies, and building confidence to handle challenges with resilience.

California Preschool Learning Foundations

RVIPP follows the California Preschool Learning Foundations, providing a strong educational foundation for all learners.
