Please consider donating Cash (through MyPayments) or Cans to our “Friday Night Food Fight” as we take on South Gwinnett in an effort to raise money and cans for local food pantries. Donations will be accepted from 10/4 – 10/14. Our goal this year, between cans and cash ($1=1 can for competitive purposes) is 2,500! Let’s make this happen, Ridge! "Food Fight" collection boxes are located around the school and in classrooms.

The PSAT is administered once a year nationwide. The administration date for the 2021 PSAT is Tuesday, October 26th, 2021. As its' name implies, this is a great assessment to get a baseline of expected performance for the SAT that many students will take. Peachtree Ridge (through a grant from the Georgia Department of Education) offers the PSAT FREE OF CHARGE to all students in a 10th-grade PRIDE and at a charge for any student in a 9th and 11th-grade PRIDE. The PSAT is NOT recommended for seniors. Currently, Peachtree Ridge does NOT offer the PSAT 8/9.
If you are interested in taking the PSAT, registration for this assessment is done on the MYPAYMENTSPLUS.com website. Only students in 9th and 11th-grade PRIDES would need to register on the site as all students in a 10th-grade PRIDE are automatically registered. Students may register as a LATE REGISTRANT (pending enough materials) on the MYPAYMENTSPLUS site through October 9th at midnight at a cost of $25.

Parents of AP Students:
AP Exam Registration is now open on MyPaymentsPlus. Registering for one AP Exam will be $10 and subsequent Exams will be $96 (except for AP Seminar & AP Research which are $144). We encourage families to apply for Free/Reduced Lunch as soon as possible, if you think you may qualify. The deadline for AP Exam Registration is November 1, 2021.

Student Council Outreach will be hosting our Trunk or Treat event on October 26, 2021! Bring your families and join us for food, books, games, candy, pictures, and fun! The event will be held in the PRHS bus lanes from 6 PM - 8 PM. Parking will be in the faculty and student parking lots. We ask for donations to our CARE Closet and local food bank as an entrance fee. We will have food for purchase via GoFan. For more information and details visit our Student Council Website!

The Peachtree Ridge Chorus will be presenting their Fall Concert on Thursday, October 14 at 7PM. Admission is FREE and the event will be held in the PRHS theatre. Performances will be given by our Concert Choir, Women's Ensemble, and Chorale. We would love to see you there! |

Dates and times:
Mondays (10/25, 11/1, and 11/8) from 3 to 5 PM
Saturdays (10/30, 11/6, and 11/13) from 8 AM to 4 PM
Cost: $345.00
Info: 30 hours of classroom and virtual learning with 6 hours of behind the wheel training
. Driving sessions will be scheduled upon completion of the classroom portion. We strive to help our students complete their driving time within 90 days of passing their final exam. Students must have their learner's permit upon enrollment and have logged at least 20 hours of driving time with a parent/guardian.

A big congratulations goes out to the Varsity Blue Pride team for winning another hard-fought competitive cheerleading invitational this past weekend. Blue Pride started fast and finished strong as they beat out the number 2 ranked team in the state. Blue Pride now holds a 6-0 win loss record and is looking forward to this Saturday, as they travel to Archer high school. The competition starts at noon and we hope to see you all there. Athletes of the week were Junior, Hayvn Frazier and Senior, Miyah Simmons.

Run Ridge Cross County!
The cross country season is starting up, but it's not too late to join! Come be part of a team where anyone can be great and be part of the best team in the state. Anyone is welcome to join. No experience is necessary. It's great conditioning for other sports and a fun team environment.

1) Email it to magicmomentprhs@yahoo.com (include image number and name)
Choose 2020 Yearbook Choices and go from there
3) Enter it when placing an order online
If a student does not select a photo, Magic Moments will choose the yearbook portrait.
Viewing Senior Proofs
Click "Order Online" in the top right corner
Choose "2021-2022 Senior Proofs"
Enter your keyword: Last Name + Last four digits of student ID + p
