Quarter 2/Semester 1 Final Exams |
Mark your calendars! Final Exams for our Quarter 2/ Semester 1 courses will be on December 16th and 17th! These will be early release days for our students as Final Exams count for a great deal of their final grade. Please check your child's grade frequently and work with them to ensure that they close out their course with the highest grade possible. |

As we enter the end of the semester and testing season, please ensure that students are getting 8-10 hours of sleep each night, getting to school on time, and eating a healthy breakfast which is offered at school for free! Below is a list of upcoming district and state level exams.

GCPS International Travel Guidelines |
As families plan to travel for upcoming breaks, it’s important to know that GCPS follows CDC guidelines when it comes to international travel. The CDC recommends that unvaccinated travelers (including children) get tested for COVID-19 within 3 to 5 days after returning AND self-quarantine at home for a full 7 days after travel. Vaccinated travelers and those who have recently recovered from COVID (within the last three months) are not required to quarantine, but should monitor for symptoms for 14 days after travel.

We do not interrupt classes for student messages or for the delivery of forgotten items such as lunches, money, keys, books, homework, book bags, etc.
Students are encouraged to remember to bring needed items with them to school. In addition, we do not deliver flowers, gifts, or fast food to classrooms.
Students may not receive any deliveries from a third party (friends, outside vendors, restaurants, etc.) at any time during the school day, including lunchtime.
Interruption of classes for deliveries interferes with instruction. Please help us protect the learning environment. P.10 Student Handbook

DRIVER’S LICENSE AND LEARNER’S PERMIT CERTIFICATE - PLAN AHEAD |
If you are planning on taking your permit test or driver's test over Winter Break please plan ahead. The last day to order those and collect them from the front lobby desk before Winter Break is December 16th. Instructions to purchase the Certificate of Enrollment is found on the PRHS website front page under the Front Office Section.
