GCPS announces transition to digital learning for the week of January 19-22
CEO/Superintendent J. Alvin Wilbanks announced today that Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) will temporarily transition all in-person learners to digital instruction beginning Tuesday, January 19.
GCPS will offer meal service during this transition to digital learning (Jan. 19-22). Meals will be available for curbside pick-up at Peachtree Ridge from 10:30-12:30, and, the district will deliver meals along all bus routes countywide during this time. More information can be found on the district website.
Registration for 2021-22
  • Students will have the opportunity to select their elective courses for the 2021-2022 school year the week of February 22nd-24th through StudentVue.
  • Students should visit their Curriculum & Instruction eClass page to begin viewing their options.
  •  Students will not be able to change elective courses so choose carefully.

As a reminder, teachers recommend you for your academic placement; however, students will be able to make changes to your level during the registration week. The change form will be located on our eClass page.

Students will not be able to take an application class unless you have met all the prerequisites, filled out the application, and been selected to be in the course; please look at these classes as the deadline to submit all applications for all the courses is January 15th, 2021.

Directions will be coming on how to select your elective courses and make academic changes once registration week opens.
PRIDE
PRIDE (Advisement/Homeroom) remains an important part of our school schedule at PRHS. On Tuesday, January 19 students will have an asynchronous PRIDE lesson that they are required to review. Attendance is taken for PRIDE just as it is taken for all other classes.
Social Studies Gateway Retest
The Social Studies Gateway retest originally scheduled for Wednesday, January 20, has been canceled. There will be no SS Gateway retest next week.
