Ridge Recovery for Q3
Starting the week of April 19th, students that have created a Georgia Virtual student account will be placed in a core course that they received a grade below 69%. Ridge Recovery is a credit recovery program using Georgia Virtual Credit Recovery for students who did not pass a core class. Students can take a condensed version of the course to earn credit towards graduation. Successful credit recovery grades will appear on a student’s transcript, but it will NOT replace the failed grade. Credit recovery allows students to earn credit and get back on track towards graduation. Student athletes who are seeking athletic scholarships should consult with their counselor prior to registering for Credit Recovery because it is not accepted by NCAA.

Peachtree Ridge High School Named National Beta School of Merit
Gwinnett County Public School District is proud to announce that Peachtree Ridge High School is a 2020-2021 National Beta School of Merit. The school earned this recognition by offering National Beta to all eligible grades on their campus.

Baccalaureate is a formal, ceremonial event to honor graduating seniors by celebrating their religion and culture. It is a highly reflective and quiet event that focuses on the graduating class’ personal growth and achievement by essentially providing a blessing to the graduates. This is the first time students will wear their gowns, stoles, and earned honor cords. It will be completely digital as participating seniors will pre-record their videos and send it to us as we compile all of them into one video. This video will be live on YouTube Premiere on May 16th. We are looking for (Senior) students who would like to perform or recite something of their religion to celebrate our graduating seniors. Seniors can sign-up here.
