Greetings Fellow Nonprofit Storytellers!

This December, we celebrate Vermont Story Lab's very first year! It's been a rich 12 months of drawing together the energy and expertise of many nonprofit professionals to help us build a robust network of storytelling for change.

As we gear up for 2017, we wanted you to be aware of what's coming:
  • a second statewide Story Lab event on Friday, May 12, with opportunities to acquire deeper storytelling skills and techniques.

  • a recently launched Digital Hub (see more below) that will enable nonprofit storytellers to network, share the latest tools, and get quick and easy assistance in trouble-shooting story challenges.
We are eager for your engagement and input! Here's how to connect:
  • Sign up for a January Workshop in your area (see below)
  • Save the date for our May 12th event
  • Register yourself on the Digital Hub
  • Like us on Facebook and Twitter
  • Tell your best nonprofit buddy about Vermont Story Lab
  • Be in touch with any ideas or feedback you have!

We now have a Digital Hub!

Here you will find useful resources, see examples of stellar storytelling, discover the ins-and-outs of how we have created stories, learn about upcoming events, and connect with others in the field.

For the full benefit of the network, we invite you to set up an account which will give you access to a place to share your in-progress stories and get feedback from your peers.

Many thanks to Geoff Gevalt for doing the gigantic task of pulling this site together!

Directory of Nonprofits Engaged in Story
We are building a directory of individuals engaged in all areas of nonprofit storytelling in Vermont -- writers, editors, videographers, photographers. We want to include you!

We are including both experts and novices as we believe that we all have something to share with each other.

Sometime before the end of the year, expect a phone call from Fran Stoddard (a partner who is leading this effort) or one of our committee members. We hope to have the Directory available in January.

If you are eager to help us or add yourself to the Directory, please email us
