Home Field Advantage  Summer means baseball! We’re throwing out the first pitch today on the “Majoring in the Minors Series” for August. The prophet Hosea wrote some of the most moving verses in scripture when he described the yearning God has for us to make our home in God.We’ll consider what it means to have a home field advantage— in a relationship with God— when we understand the tender love God has expressed to us in Jesus. Be sure to wear your baseball bling! Find us on Facebook at St. Paul's United Methodist Church-Rochester.

Sunday Worship

3 Strikes and … We continue in our series, “Majoring in the Minors,” with the theme of God’s mercy and grace being larger than we can imagine. Last week Jonah met God’s mercy and tenderness with anger, since surely God’s love cannot extend even to them… Similarly, in Hosea we hear the challenge and possibility through forgiveness. What does it mean to truly believe our faith gives us what we need to be people of forgiveness and mercy?
