Branksome Hall welcomed the 28th Governor General of Canada, the Right Honorable David Johnston, and Mrs. Sharon Johnston to our Green Carpet ceremony on June 14.
The annual end-of-the-year celebration honours students from Grades 7 to 11 with awards in the areas of leadership, languages, sports, and the arts.

Graduation festivities kicked off at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23, with the

At Graduation on Thursday, May 24, students and families enjoyed the long-standing ceremony held at St. Paul's on Bloor Street.

Official Launch of the
Chandaria Research Centre
Branksome proudly celebrated the official launch of the Chandaria Research Centre (CRC) on April 9. Although CRC Director Dr. Mira Gambhir has been laying the groundwork and leading research programs for the past two years, the launch was an opportunity to celebrate the impact already made by the CRC.

Branksome Receives National Recognition
Competing with Canadian universities and colleges, Branksome received three prestigious awards from the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education (CCAE).
The Prix d'Excellence award categories for which Branksome was commended were:

On June 5, while in town to attend the Prix d'Excellence award presentations, Tanya Pimenoff, Associate Director of Alum Relations and Editor of The READ, was delighted to host a get-together for alums.

A first-ever get-together for alumnae and former Branksome teachers was hosted by Principal Karen Jurjevich in March.
Travels to Singapore coincided with an International Baccalaureate conference.
Former Branksome teachers in attendance were Oksana Jajecznyk, Mireille Couture and Erin O'Rourke.
