Three of the filmmakers from our Short Films Juried Competition travel to the island to be with us and participate in a Q &A.

The 2026 MV International Film Festival at the MV Film Center welcomed 2000+ ticket-holders this September -- it was inspiring to see so many people experiencing our festival's films from around the globe. The parties were fun too. And even closed roads and downpours on the festival's last day did not dampen the community spirit for the event.

In August we kept the live music rolling! We were delighted by the musical stylings of Cleo King and her Broadway Divas show, and Atlantic Harmony String Duo who played a fundraiser for Camp Jabberwocky. Livingston Taylor was twice as nice, the musician played 2 shows at the Film Center, one in July and one in August.

Master Mentalist Jon Stetson wowed the crowd with his psychic, mind-bending comedy show.

Directors Natalie Baszile and Hyacinth Parker spoke to the audience after a screening of their riveting documentary, HARVEST
