Hello Manna,

I hope this email finds you in good health and spirits as the summer settles in. On behalf of Manna Food Center, I am reaching out to you today with a sense of gratitude and celebration. We are half-way through 2023 and our commemoration of community service spanning four decades. Thanks to your support, compassion, and dedication to our mission of ending hunger, Manna has been able to share food, educate, and advocate for 40 years.

To mark our significant milestone, we created a video looking back on the journey we have undertaken together: it's a celebration of our shared progress, a collection of perspectives that inspire us, and a look toward the future.

Please take a few moments to watch the video here. This visual tribute is just one way to express our deepest gratitude for your support whether you’ve been volunteering, donating, or partnering for 40 years or if you are new to supporting food security. There are countless individuals and organizations that have supported us throughout the years, and we hope this is a tribute worthy of everyone’s generosity and commitments.

As we look ahead to the next decade, I am filled with a renewed sense of hope and determination. We have achieved so much together, even as there is still much to accomplish. Alongside those we serve, in a spirit of collaboration, and with your ongoing support, we will continue to meet challenges and create successes.

Thank you for your compassion, your generosity, and your belief in Manna Food Center’s mission. Let us continue this service together until all our neighborhoods are places where all people have access to good food at all times.

Big Thanks to Big Train!

All smiles as Manna staff, volunteers, board members, and supporters gather to cheer on Bethesda Big Train Baseball.

We’re so grateful to be named a Community Hero this year and feel the support from the Big Train family. Our very own Steve Corrozi threw out the first pitch!

Volunteers Needed!

Join us if you have a vehicle, a good driving record, and a few extra hours to transport food on a regular, weekly basis, or just for a one-time food run. You choose the food runs that fit your schedule. Sign up with our free food matching app, ChowMatch.
