Creating a Legacy of Service for the Inland Empire's LGBTQ+ Community

Friends,

Can you believe it’s December already? Where does the time go?!

This year, we have made incredible progress on Project Legacy. Our construction team has been working around the clock, and our community has been rallying behind us, lifting us up, and carrying us closer to the finish line. We’re not there yet, but, oh, are we proud of all we've done this past year.

We hosted White House officials, state constitutional officers, senators, assemblymembers, and our local leaders – all who chipped in to our project over the year. Importantly, we also shared our space with those we will serve – our clients – who are at the center of everything we do.

We invite you to learn more about what we’ve been up to below. From installing our final beams alongside our friends to launching our new Legacy Giving Circle... there’s so much to reflect on from the last 12 months.

None of this would be possible without you: our friends, our supporters, our confidants. Thank you for believing in our vision and helping us realize it. We look forward to working with you in the coming months to finish Project Legacy strong and open in June 2023!

Forward and upward,

Gabe

Assemblymember Sabrina Cervantes, 60th District

Senator Richard Roth, 31st District

Beaming with Pride

Local Leaders Sign One of Our Final Beams Before it Gets Installed

Building Project Legacy has been a community effort. In November, we celebrated another milestone: installing one of our final beams. Joining us to commemorate the occasion was Senator Richard Roth, Assemblymember Sabrina Cervantes, and several local elected officials. With every nail hammered, wall painted, or beam installed, our vision of Project Legacy moves us closer to completion!

We look forward to continuing our work with all of our friends in elected office who have been instrumental in bringing our vision to life!

Join the Legacy Giving Circle!

Many of you have asked how you can contribute to our work and we have an answer! TruEvolution is proud to announce the launch of our new Legacy Giving Circle – and we invite you to join us! For 15 years, TruEvolution has worked alongside each of you, community members in Riverside and San Bernardino counties, to fight for health equity and racial justice for LGBTQ+ people.

To sustain this work, we’re asking you to help by becoming a founding member of our Legacy Giving Circle by giving a recurring minimum gift of $15/month in celebration of our 15 years serving the community!
