GIS-Pro 2017 in Jax !

More than 400 GIS professionals - from 38 states, 4 Canadian provinces, and 10 countries - recently convened in Jacksonville, Florida for GIS-Pro 2017. From preconference workshops and a HOTOSM Mapathon, to a "sweet" social event and a keynote presentation about GIS at the "Rocket Ranch" (Kennedy Space Center), the conference exceeded all expectations.

The photo at the top of this newsletter is a group shot of the high school student poster competition participants, who dazzled us with their work! (We'll be profiling their submissions in upcoming issues of The GIS Professional.)

Thanks to all of the participants!!
