On behalf of the leadership and congregation of Calvary, I extend our congratulations to our graduating high school seniors. So many of us have had the joy of seeing these students grow up at Calvary. It is difficult to think that these wee boys and girls of a few years ago are now young men and women about to begin a new chapter in their lives! We thank God for so many who are authentic followers of Jesus Christ and who desire to display and proclaim the Lord Jesus, whether at college or the workplace. Let’s make sure we encourage and pray for them!
I have asked Eric Hill, our High School Pastor, to preach this Sunday. He and his wife, Amanda, and other leaders have served this group of graduates over the years. As I announced last Sunday, Eric and Amanda leave Calvary at the end of July to plant a church in the Atlanta area. This is a significant step of faith by them. They have been valuable members of the Calvary team, and we have seen them grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and sharpen their gifts and abilities for ministry. I know you will pray for Eric as he proclaims God’s Word not only to the graduates but to everyone present this Sunday at Calvary.
