A tiny virus is creating havoc throughout the world — demonstrating not only the fragility of human existence but the uncertain foundations of our society. Businesses, schools, and churches are closed. The stock market experiences wild fluctuations. People are quarantined, and travel comes to a virtual standstill. When will it all end?
We praise God that our hope and our future are based upon the Lord who is the “everlasting Rock.” Isaiah writes, “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting Rock” (Isaiah 26:3–4). Moses writes, “The Rock, His work is perfect, for all His ways are justice.” (Deuteronomy 32:4).
Isn’t it wonderful to know that there is nothing in the whole universe which can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38–39). In the midst of this crisis, we can experience that perfect peace because our trust is in God, the everlasting Rock.

ALG Virtual Meetings —

Our ALGs are working on virtual meeting options so that we can still enjoy close community and gather at our regular times: Sundays at 8:30 or 11:15 AM. There are several resources for online video/audio meetings. We're exploring
Zoom, but other options include Google Hangout, Google Meet, Skype, WhatsApp, and FaceTime.
Your ALG leader will let you know how your group plans to connect. Thanks for your patience as we work out the details. If we're not 100% by this Sunday, stay tuned. We'll keep you posted!
