I think it will be helpful for our pastoral staff to explain some of their ministry priorities over the coming weeks. I will begin the series this Sunday evening at 6:00 with “The Priority of Preaching,” a subject very close to my heart!
Then, Lord willing, the schedule will be as follows:
- February 4 AM: “The Priority of the Family” by Nathaniel Pearce
- February 4 PM: “The Priority of Caring” by Jim Pile
- February 11 AM: “The Priority of Evangelism” by Sibu Rajappan
- February 18 AM: “The Priority of Worship” by Tim Hathaway
- February 25 AM: “The Priority of Missions” by Jim Cashwell — this is the opening Sunday of the Missions Conference
- February 25 PM: “The Priority of Discipleship” by Rob Reece
I will preach at the closing service of the Missions Conference on Sunday morning, March 3. Then we will resume the series on 1 Peter on March 10, and that evening, Cameron Engle will speak on “The Priority of the Next Generation.”
