1 John 3:16-18
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.
2016 | An Incredible Year
To all our friends whether supporters, team members, prayer warriors or all the above we thank God for each one of you. What an amazing year God has given to CCM. The opportunities for ministry have been successful because of each one of you and the huge part you played in bringing forth an incredible amount of ministry this year. We had 63 teams travel through CCM in 2016. Churches, universities, schools and businesses - 1200 people went to Nicaragua to share the love of Jesus through Bible studies, marriage seminars, Pastor training, student ministries, drilling wells, building houses and latrines, conducting feedings, teaching drumming techniques, holding sports camps, painting, laying tiles, stuccoing walls, establishing home businesses, sending children to schools along with helping schools to function more proficiently by supplying desks, white boards, chairs etc. building pews, tables, rocking chairs for our churches and team campus facilities, sponsorships, etc.

The list could go on for days of all the many ways each one of you has shared the love of Christ to a country that is in such desperate need. We thank God for each one of you and for your continued blessings of praying, giving and going to support the efforts as they continue forth in 2017 to draw more and more people to the feet of Jesus!
NEW FOR 2017
Team Toolbox
Our iMpact Mission Team Leaders are on the front lines of CCM. They get to impact the lives of so many in Nicaragua as they recruit and lead their team. We are excited to offer the Team Leader Toolbox which contains tools to help recruit, train and fund short-term mission teams. If you are the leader of a team or are planning a trip, contact Kim Nix at kim@chosenchildrenministries.org for log-in information.

C-GEN Youth Ministry
Our new Youth Ministry is moving forward as we narrow down our search for the new Youth Director in Nicaragua. Great things are coming as we seek to reach the older generation of youth in Nicaragua. Stay tuned!

Child Sponsorship
So many of you responded in 2016 by becoming a Child Sponsor. Over 150 children now receive hope, nutrition and Biblical instruction each month! Thank you so much! We still have nearly 500 children ready to receive sponsorship today. It's such a joy to see these children growing and learning about Christ in our local Churches. Watch this video with some of our sponsored kids at our church in Mt. Zion.

STORIES
When iMpact Teams schedule their trip, they have an opportunity to select a ministry project for their team to complete while in Nicaragua. CCM matches the team skills with the needs of our communities and our strategy of building long-term relationships centered around our churches. We currently have over 50 ministry projects avaialable for 2017. Below are just two families for whom teams have the opportunity to minister and build those relationships.
ALEYDA HERNANDEZ

Aleyda lives in the Emmanuel Barrio with her daughter and granddaughter. Her husband passed away recently and she struggles to survive each day. This is ministry project M4 which will conduct Men & Women's Bible Studies, door-to-door evangelism, construct a new home, a sports camp, VBS and much more.

TANIA GARCIA & FAMILY

Tania lives in the Emmanuel Barrio with her husband and two young daughters. The government is relocating them to another piece of property which means they need a new home to be constructed. This is ministry project M7 which will conduct sports camps, VBS, evangelism and much more.

Back to School
School starts back up in February in Nicaragua. Unfortunately, not all children will return. Can you imagine telling your children they can't return because you can't afford school supplies, a uniform and books? You can give a Yellow Bag today to help a child stay in school or begin school!
