We can help you keep your resolution to help
others this year!
All of us at The Volunteer Center want to thank you for your commitment to serving our wonderful community this past year. Here are some more ways to become involved!

Alzheimer's Association Public Policy volunteers help improve the quality of care and quality of life for people with Alzheimer’s disease and their families by carrying the message to elected officials at the federal, state and local levels. Communicate with elected officials via petitions, phone calls and other calls-to-action, participate in area events, and share your story.

Political experience is not required, and you will be assigned to elected officials based on where you live and your interests.

To receive more information about becoming an Alzheimer's Association Public Policy volunteer at the federal or state level, visit: https://alzimpact.org/volunteer or call Scott Herrick at 336.814.0438.

Connections Companion
Do you enjoy socializing and working with older adults? Come join the volunteer team as a Connections Companion.
Well-Spring Solutions is looking for caring and compassionate volunteers to join the program and provide companionship and support to members. Volunteers are actively involved with small group activities and assist staff with lunch preparation for members. This is a fun and interactive way to make a difference!

There are 3 Connections locations in Greensboro and a new location in High Point. The Connections-Memory Club program is open between 10AM-2 PM weekdays only.

For the High Point location, please contact Kara Ray at kray@well-spring.org or 336-907-9706 for more information.

For the Greensboro locations, please contact Leslie Martin at lmartin@well-spring.org or lmcnair@well-spring.org for more information
