Letter from the Director - Eric Alexander
We have come to the end of a very good year, by the spirit of the Lord. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “ For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “ plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Gods prefect plan has prevailed again.

We have seen a multitude of souls saved, re-dedications this year and the process of transformation of the Lord has taken place thru out this ministry. Safe Harbor of Little Rock is expecting great opportunities from the Lord, and we are armed and prepared to face the challenges and dynamics of a “Lord Lead Movement”, a movement toward the place that God has positioned for us! We will only move to the beat of his drum, and sing only the praises of His song. 2019 is our “ Forward March” year, we will be marching forward to the plans set by this great ministry. These are some quotes or ideas to inspire you for 2019:

  • “ Hard work most often leads to success, but it’s not every day, and it’s not every week. It will pay off at different times over the course of your career.”
  • “ For the most part, “naturals” are myths. People who are especially good at something may have some innate inclination, or some particular talent, but they have also spent about ten thousand hours practicing or doing that thing.”
  • “ The trill you feel being on the path to your dream is not mutually exclusive from the feeling of discomfort, and, on occasions, misery.”
  • “ Purpose is a better motivator than money. Money, while necessary, motivates neither the best people, nor the best in people. Purpose does.”
  • Here at Safe Harbor Little Rock, we are campaigning for “Gods Elect”. We are inspiring men to rise up and accept a position in Gods Kingdom “be elected for a great work” Being always prepared to receive the “battle plan”.
  • “There’s nothing more valuable than a saved soul”!
The Director and Staff of Safe Harbor of Little Rock look forward to and new and extremely prosperous year!!
Christmas in Little Rock
Safe Harbor of Little Rock staff got an early 3 a.m. start on Christmas morning. The clients got eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, hash browns, pancakes, biscuits & gravy, orange juice and coffee. Pretty sure Denny’s Grand Slam doesn’t give all that! It was a great morning to be able to serve!!!
We carried our Celebrate Sunday for December into our Christmas party for an extra full night of fellowship with clients and guests.
Our Reliable Office topped the decorations for Little Rock! Great job!
Partner of the Quarter - Tokusen
Safe Harbor of Little Rock would like to congratulate Tokusen as our Partner of the Quarter. Tokusen has been producing metal products for around 70 years, and has recently partnered up with us in 2018.

Our clients' employment there extends great future opportunities with full time employment, at a living wage, added insurance benefits and upward mobility options. One of our outstanding clients, in our program, John Edwards stated "I love my job at Tokusen, they treat us really good and encourage us to permanent members of their team."

Once again thank you Tokusen, and we look forward to many years of future partnership.
Celebration Sunday
Client Testimony - Tyson Norsworthy
When I first arrived at Safe Harbor, I had my doubts. I just wanted to do my 90 days and be gone. However, after I got into the program I noticed some things I needed to change about myself that I had not noticed until I got here and started to get involved. Safe Harbor helped me to renew my relationship with God and has given me a new sense about what my life means and whom I should be serving in my life.

Safe Harbor has also helped me restore my self confidence and self respect, something I had lost being a convicted felon. This place has also given me the necessary tools that I can use throughout my life that will allow me to be a successful citizen in society and most importantly a better Christian man.
Thanksgiving Festivities
Quarterly Report from James Staffan
Many awesome things have happened in the final quarter of 2018 for Safe Harbor of Little Rock. We have recently partnered up with GC Evans, a manufacturer servicing America's food and beverage industry for over 80 years, using absolutely no outsourcing whatsoever. A true American company. This feels like a partnership that we can look forward to years of service with.

Other big things in Little Rock is our celebration of the holidays. Thanksgiving was beyond a huge success with food and fellowship. Christmas was the big event this year. We had a talent show with a diverse array of talent to entertain with. We handed out awards to all the thankless volunteers that devote their time teaching classes, preaching the Good Word and counseling with our clients. A special thank you to Soles 4 Souls for a sizable donation of brand new shoes for all clients in our program. Out clients received a gift card from Burlington Coat Factory and the shoes from "Santa" this year. We closed out New Year's Eve Watch Service at 1st Baptist Church in downtown Little Rock.

2019 holds many blessings already in store for Safe Harbor of Little Rock. We look forward to all the Thanksgivings that God has prepared for our ministry, clients, partners and staff.
