Our faith can help us be more comfortable with each other -- and in our civic engagement. This week there are two opportunities to learn more about getting along with each other in this season of politics. Challenge yourself!

The son of Sally Vonner, our General Secretary/CEO, Arvis “Wesley” Vonner II, unexpectedly passed away recently. Please pray for Sally, her daughter Lessie, his dad Arvis, Sr. and their entire family during this difficult time.

The funeral service will be in the Dallas area this Saturday afternoon, Sept. 14th. The church needs an idea of how many are planning to attend, so please contact Wendy if you plan to attend or need details.

To help us celebrate the impact of our efforts in North Texas Conference we plan to share pictures of women organized for mission and their mission projects. We'll enjoy the slide show at our last NTC Annual Meeting on October 19th (We'll be Horizon TX Conference in 2025).

HONOR THE SPECIAL PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE . . . by donating to the Burning of the Candle to be celebrated at the final Annual Celebration gathering of the North Texas Conference United Women in Faith in October. Consider those women who have mentored and loved you over the years.
