When we focus on the challenges and troubles we face, we become alarmed, But when we focus on the unseen God of heaven, the picture changes radically and our hearts become filled with peace. Although it may look like you are being outnumbered at times , the same way Elisha told his servant "Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them", I tell you the same today. When God is with you, you can never be out numbered. In verse 17 we find Elisha did not pray that his servant would not stop seeing the enemy, he prayed that he would start seeing the goodness of the Lord. Trusting God means looking beyond what we can see to what God sees. When you can see the invisible, you can do the impossible. Seeing the invisible is walking on the faith that that God has given you that He will never leave you nor forsake you. Knowing this you would be able to astound the wise and do all things through Christ that strengthens you.

If you recall the story of David when he was staring across the Elah Valley into the eyes of Goliath, David recalls the times God had delivered him from the brink of disaster. God had always given David the ability he needed to triumph. At some point each of us will face what will look like enormous trials and difficulties. That is why you must know how to respond to every threat by laying hold of the kind of victorious faith that looks beyond what we can see to what God sees. The secret to David and many others success in the bible is the ability to trust and obey God. Had David looked at the face of Goliath without knowing God is on his side he would have turned around and ran. However, through faith David saw what the others did not. Without a strong faith we can quickly yield to temptation and fear, especially when the trial or difficulty is intense. God loves you and when you bury your trust in Him, He will not allow you to suffer defeat. You may go through difficult times and life may not always turn out the way you planned, but ultimately God will be glorified , and you will be blessed.

Every challenge presents an opportunity for God to display His faithfulness and love. Instead of yielding to thoughts of fear and failure, make a commitment to trust God, even when you don't know what the next day will bring you.. David founded his faith in the sovereignty of God. That's why he knew he would not fail in his quest to defeat the philistine giant. I challenge you to go strong, go hard and be bold with every vision, every dream and every opportunity God gives you. He will see you through!
