About The Seminar
Based on a recent survey of ACEC Colorado member firms on the Western Slope, this special, one-day seminar includes the two sessions that members identified they were most interested in attending:
Communication & Relationships: Interpersonal Communication (4 PDHs)
Learn different verbal & nonverbal skills to effectively communicate with others. Develop techniques to build collaborate, increase your influence and resolve conflicts successfully.
Team Dynamics: Overview (4 PDHs)
Explore the different team dynamic theories and stages that impact how individuals work
together. We will review Social Styles, generational differences and several others to help you
better understand group influences.
About The Instructor
Calla Pott has 20 years of human resource (HR) and organizational development experience with small- to medium-size for-profit and non-profit organizations. Prior to starting
Align By Design, Pott was an HR consultant with a professional employer organization where she partnered with organizations from diverse industries to align their human resource processes and strategy to support their business objectives. Pott has served in HR director roles as a member of the senior leadership team at medium-size high tech, manufacturing and wholesale distribution companies, where she was responsible for organizational development, workforce planning, total rewards design, leadership development and more. She received her Senior Professional Human Resource certification in 2010, served on the board of the Northern Colorado Human Resource Association 2011-14 and is a member of the Colorado Society for Human Resource Management Colorado Council since 2015. Pott received her master's degree from Colorado State University (Fort Collins) in 1989 and is currently the state association director for Odyssey of the Mind in Colorado.
