Commonly Asked Questions About Mentoring

IS SCORE MENTORING REALLY FREE?

Yes, it is really is! Since SCORE is a nonprofit resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), our mentoring services are free, regardless of the number of times you visit your mentor(s).

CAN I HAVE MORE THAN ONE MENTOR?

Absolutely! You can contact as many mentors as you need. As a business owner, you have to juggle a lot of hats. You can look for mentors with expertise in the business topics or industry you need help with.

IS SCORE MENTORING REALLY CONFIDENTIAL?

SCORE mentors are not only business experts, but receive three months of training prior to becoming a mentor. Plus, they sign an annual Code of Ethics so you can feel confident knowing you can trust them with your business information and questions.

Small business owners who receive three or more hours of mentoring report higher revenues and increased growth.
