Welcome winter finally!

Great to see all the great “Winter Scene” photos.

BUSINESS - Jan 17th 2024

• Kristen Hand, VP, has set up a Zoom account for the club.

• Wayne Justason is working on making the facebook page more functional and encourages our members to post things on it regularly. Only dues paying members may post.

• Sharon Nahill, Treasurer, continues to pursue the account issues with the state.

• Wayne has offered us the opportunity to attend a Zoom meeting hosted by the Bedford MA Camera Club, featuring Mark Bowie.

Here is the procedure for registering (with BCAP) for this free Zoom program by Mark Bowie on Winter Photography on January 23rd. 7-9pm :

"The policy and procedure for guest attendance is stated on our (The Bedford CA ) BCAP home page:

Guests are welcome to attend two meetings, and then should join the group if they wish to continue. If you would like to attend a meeting use our Contact Form and select Guest Attendee under Inquiry Type."

There is room on that form for a message. Please ask your members to indicate there that they are members of the Lakes Region Camera Club.

At about 6:30 on the night of the meeting a link is emailed out to BCA members plus those who are signed up as guests. There is no public link on the web site so that email with link to the Zoom meeting is needed.

• LRCC is a member club of the NECCC and as club we enter their inter-club digital contests 3 times a year. Kristin Hand is in charge of this.

• NECCC is a council within Photography Society of America and most of the camera clubs in New England belong to NECCC.
• PSA also has some amazing programs exclusively for its individual members.
• NANPA offers great opportunities as well. Tours, webinars , and educational programs..
