Scheduling Conflict with the Globetrotters Game
I apologize for a rookie mistake in a scheduling conflict with a pair of upcoming events.

I just realized the Harlem Globetrotters game at the University of Mary Washington conflicts with the 1st through 3rd grade Christmas Concert on Monday, December 9th.

I never want families to feel that they have to choose between school events. We are cancelling the on court activity with the Globetrotters. Anyone who submitted payment will have their check returned to them. I apologize for the inconvenience. We will continue looking for fun activities for our students and school families (that don't conflict with other school events). Thank you for your understanding.
Open House Tuesday
On Tuesday, November 12, from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m., we are looking forward to welcoming prospective new families to learn about the amazing, Catholic education available to students at Holy Cross Academy.

Wow! Mini Mall Was Impressive!
I was blown away by the creativity and craftiness of our 4th graders. There were so many creative handmade items for sale today at the Mini Mall. The proceeds from the Mini Mall will be donated to Catholic Charities and the Missions. Way to go 4th graders!
Scholastic Book Fair Concludes Friday
The Scholastic Book Fair will be open today and Friday during parent/teacher conferences. It has been great to see how excited our students have been about reading and picking out new books and other little treasures.
Chick Fil A Fundraiser for Crusader Athletics
A last-minute reminder that a portion of sales at Chick-Fil A today between 11:30 and 2:00 will come back to benefit Holy Cross Academy.

Eat More Chicken!
Square 1 Art
Coming up is a chance to buy original artwork from your child printed onto a number of different products from Square 1 Art. These make perfect Christmas gifts and support our art program. Forms either will be sent home today or will be provided to you during your conference.
