Organizational culture can make or break organizational success. And during today’s turbulent and ever-shifting work climate, leaders are challenged to create and sustain healthy organizational cultures -- those that promote inclusion, reduce conflict and toxicity, and stimulate workforce engagement.

Our January 27th Breakfast Forum, Creating More Civil, Healthy, Productive Work Environments, will feature three expert speakers, each sharing insights, tips, and successful methods that help leaders create healthier, engaging work environments. We will hear from:

  • Anna Maravelas, founder/CEO of Thera Rising International, on ways to reduce workplace conflict — how to manage personal anger (“flooding”), the concept of “drama-bonding” to reduce team polarization and the tribal nature of our relationships.
  • Mitch Kusy, Fulbright Scholar, professor, Antioch University, on ways to reduce workplace toxicity — the evidence that toxic behavior has on individual & team performance and tangible strategies to reduce it.
  • Tammy Krings, founder/CEO of The Conversations that Matter, on ways to foster a more healthy team environment, especially during a period where teams are hiring new talent and constantly reforming — ways to (re)build culture and move from the “Great Resignation” to the “Great Rejuvenation” with your team.

Each speaker will give a brief, “TEDtalk” like presentation, sharing their insights and recommendations, and then we’ll have time for Q&A and discussion with the audience.

This session is Thursday, Jan 27 from 8:00-9:00 CT (optional speed networking and mingling 7:45-8:00), using Zoom MEETING. Grab your pepsi, coffee and breakfast, and join us for a rich discussion. Free for PEN/WCPE members; $20 for non-members.
