Join PCSS for Session 1 of the PCSS-Exchange (PCSS-X), a six-session course focused on prescribing medications for treating opioid use disorder (MOUD) and implementing MOUD into clinical practices in a variety of healthcare settings. Don't worry if you have to miss any session; you do not have to attend all sessions. NOTE: Sessions are not recorded.

PCSS-X is intended for an interprofessional audience. Prescribers with frontline experience prescribing medications for opioid use disorder and developing clinic workflows will be available during each session to answer participants’ questions and discuss real-world cases.

The first session provide you with the critical information and steps in determining the readiness of your site and clinical leadership.

Credit Designations Available: AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™, and Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) credit.

Addiction Medicine Practice-Based Research Network (AMNet), in collaboration with the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry, lead organization for the PCSS coalition, will address the opioid epidemic by helping practices and their providers drive quality improvement while creating a platform for future research.

AMNet is part of the American Psychiatric Association's PsychPRO patient registry. AMNet provides patient-reported measures including the SOWS, Brief Addiction Monitor, and an Opioid Craving Scale. Addiction psychiatrists can also use the DSM-5 Cross-cutting measure, PHQ-9, GAD-7, and more. Patients can complete these tools online, prior to their visit, or in the office on tablet computers provided for free to participating clinicians. Patient responses to measures will generate graphics, visualizing treatment progress over time.

The Opioid Response Network (ORN), in partnership with Columbia University Department of Psychiatry Division on Substance Use Disorders, has created FREE a one-of a-kind web-based training that will help substance use disorder treatment providers deliver more affirming care to their LGBTQ+ clients.

The Homeless and Housing Resource Center (HHRC) and National Family Support TechnicalAssistance Center (NFSTAC) is sponsoring 2-part series to share important information about family homelessness and the supports available to help families regain housing stability.
