Prayer Shawl Ministry
Prayer Shawls Available
Prayer shawls are an amazing gift, made and crafted by those with faith and giving hearts, creativity and talent! More Prayer Shawls and Pocket Prayer Shawls have been completed and dedicated.
Do you know someone who would be blessed to be wrapped in prayer, to know you and others are praying for them; do you know others are praying for you? These prayer shawls and pocket prayer shawls are available to you, for you personally, or for you to give to another.
Most of those crafting prayer shawls continue to do so at home. This ministry is open to anyone interested. To share your interest, or to request a prayer shawl, contact Crystal Hendrix or Julie Blomster for more information.

Faith Quest Sunday School

Classes on pause as indoor worship begins
Special events and information to come soon!
Though indoor worship has begun again, our Faith Quest classes will continue to stay on pause for the immediate future. Sunday worship will only be 30 minutes in length. We are exploring safety protocols as we consider a variety of opportunities and programs to keep God's children connected and engaged and nurtured and supported.
Please note: Lord of Life is committed to children having the opportunity to be part of a Children's Christmas Program experience, and while that experience will likely look differently this year, it will still involve children being offered parts in the program, wearing costumes, singing songs, and more. Watch for ways to support and join our efforts! More details coming soon!

A Blessed Sign of Love!
Thanks be to God!
Small groups meeting inside begins soon!
Email Marne Luebbert to get on the schedule.

Pandemic Response Team Meeting Weekly:
Team Members: Several weeks ago, the Church Council appointed Bruce Duden, team facilitator; Julie Blomster, team secretary; Bob Blomster, Mike Claywell, Ted Dau, Amy Ehrlichmann, and Cindy Rustan, to serve as our Pandemic Response Team. The team has quite timely, effectively, and efficiently, identified initial steps, issues, questions, concerns, strategies to meet our needs to begin reopening our facility.
Space is limited inside. Meeting dates are limited. More details provided. Though our plans include providing as much meeting space inside as possible, as quickly as possible, there are precautions and practices being evaluated. Scheduling is critical. There will be limited space. All individuals and groups will need to be scheduled on the calendar in advance, even if that involves just stopping in. Details will be provided for those who wish to use a room, including how to clean the room following your event.
Thank you to those who volunteer, support our wish list, and share their generosity of time and gifts!
The Church Council and the Pandemic Response Team continue to gather and to process information and updates from the synod office in addition to the latest from the CDC, and the government on every level.
As we all know, this information, and many of the recommendations continue to change and to be updated frequently. If our recommendations or any of these initial steps need to change, we will update you.
To learn more, or if you have any questions, please email any or all of us, and we will forward your email to our Pandemic Response Team and ministry teams.
Thanks be to God for one and all, as together we make God and our neighbors first!

Prayer Ministry
Prayers for so many continue!

Please join us in praying for:
Those who serve as first responders and health care providers; including hospitals, clinics, long-term and memory care;
Those who serve in the military, here and abroad;
Those who are manufacturing, providing, distributing, donating, much needed medical supplies and equipment;
Those who are devoted to and skilled in research;
Those who teach, serve, maintain, administrate, oversee, our schools; and those who care for children;
Those who manage, stock, cashier, clean the stores we depend on;
Those who are truck drivers, who put on miles and put in hours, to get what is needed from place to place;
Those committed to public service to meet the needs of others, including local and county needs;
Those who are facing financial insecurity and uncertainty; businesses closed, reduced hours, the unemployed and those recently laid off;
Each of you, in the midst of these times, whatever you and your loved ones and your hearts are experiencing;
And so much more!
For those interested; Pastor Jamie invites you to join him as he prays with others who have invited us to join brothers and sisters in the faith, locally and regionally in praying together, as is convenient and doable for you, to simply stop what you are doing and to pray at 10:10 a.m.; and, or 12 noon; and, or, 10:10 p.m. There is power in knowing we are praying with so many others.
Each week our prayers go out to our beloved brothers and sisters in so many places. Thank you to one and all who daily lift up in prayer one another, who daily call on the power of The Almighty, and the comforting presence of the One who is Present!
May our prayers surround one and all who are in the midst of grief, longing for strength and hope, facing all that is still unknown. If you personally know people who have been impacted by recent events, or if you or someone you know is in need of prayer, let Pastor Jamie know.

Wish List Here
Scrip Continues!
Thanks be to God for your generosity!
The faithful giving of so many is a sign of awe at this time!

Our Pandemic Response Team has identified a wish list of items including ongoing supplies and some special items. If you would like to support our efforts in this way, your added generosity would be an added blessing! You can access that wish list here. Thank you!
Thank you to those who have stopped by church to drop off their offering!
Thank you to those who have sent in special one-time gifts!
Thank you to those who have initiated Simply Giving or Online Giving!
Thank you to those who continue to give weekly, regularly, by stopping by, or by continuing Simply Giving, our automated giving program!
As we have shared over the weeks: The CARES Act was initiated; Lord of Life executed our application and received funds several weeks ago. Though we were able to receive support, we thank you and we give thanks to God for your continued generosity!
As we journey through these very different times, we pray for one and all who are experiencing financial uncertainty, unemployment, or hardship. Please trust that you can contact Pastor Jamie if it would be best for you to change your giving at any time. We completely understand, and support you taking care of your family and loved ones! We pray God's very best for one and all!

Though much of our shopping has changed at this time, our shopping efforts continue to benefit Lord of Life! Many of us are still purchasing gas, groceries and more. Visit www.shopwithscrip.com to see the MANY participating retailers.
Scrip has a new app that is so easy to use! (It's much better than the old Scrip Wallet.) It's called RaiseRight and you can download it from Google Play or iTunes.
You may set up an account anorder physical or electronic gift cards online, or purchase directly from your phone while out shopping through the RaiseRight app. These days, with many of our neighbors in need, remember, you can even email e-gift cards to someone for immediate or future delivery!
Retailers give a percentage of your purchase back to Lord of Life -- without charging you anything extra!
