Diocesan Election Online Prayer Vigils - starting Monday Nov. 2
Our Cathedral is coordinating an online prayer vigil on Election Eve, Monday, Nov. 2, at 7 p.m., in collaboration with congregations who would like to pray together for our nation. Christ Church is taking part. Bishop Alan M. Gates will offer a welcome and blessing. Additionally, online prayer gatherings will be offered at 7 p.m. on the evenings of Nov. 3 (Christ Church is hosting!) 4, 5 & 6. All are welcome!  Click here to receive the Zoom link.

Holding on to Hope: A National Service for Healing and Wholeness
Presiding Bishop Michael Curry will lead a live-streamed prayer service from Washington National Cathedral, Holding on to Hope: A National Service for Healing and Wholeness, on All Saints' Sunday, November 1, at 4:00-5:30 p.m. EST. In the midst of pandemic, racial reckoning, and an historic election, the service will gather Americans for prayer, song, lament, hope, and a call to love God and neighbor. Learn more here

Upcoming Service Opportunities
Mylar Blanket Drive
Christ Church is raising funds to purchase Mylar blankets for the homeless community we serve at the MANNA Program at the Cathedral in Boston. The cost of the blankets is only about 80¢ each, so a little money goes a long way. Make checks out to Christ Church and note MANNA Blanket Drive on the memo line. Thank you!
B-SAFE on 11/19
A HUGE thank you to all of you who contributed to the October distribution of groceries for B-Love. We have committed to another 25 bags for November and there are a few remaining open slots; sign up here. We are blessed to be able to do this act of kindness for those in need and you are wonderful to respond. The list remains the same, please drop completed bags at my house before November 19th. We get an early start and distribute bags at St. Stephens at 9:00 am on the 19th. Again, THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU!!!!  Kathleen
